“I was born in Suriname and came to the Netherlands when I was eighteen to study Civil Engineering at the Delft University of Technology. The move to the Netherlands was somewhat of a culture shock. Yet I felt that I knew this country, because I had lived here for eight years as a child. Consequently, I grew up with a variety of influences.”

Together, we can create added value

“My affinity with substantive dilemmas manifested itself at an early age, as was the drive to come together to achieve the best possible performance. I developed a passion for the field of flood protection and still get great satisfaction from being part of a team which contributes to sustainable flood protection. Together we can create added value for society.”
